At Renegade festival hosted by Cafe Rene which is going to take place in Gloucester, drop in, pick up a tool, and join us in a shared drawing experience.

In this relaxed hands-on workshop a large roll of paper will cover the tables, creating one big space for everyone to draw on together. Using a range of materials provided you’ll be invited to make circles —big or small, neat or messy, bold or barely there. There’s no right or wrong way to do it, and no experience is needed.

This is a playful, interactive session where you can experiment, try things out and see how your marks connect with others. You’ll be gently guided along the way, with simple prompts to help you explore different ways of drawing and responding.

At the start, there will be a short introduction to get things going. If you arrive later, you can easily jump in—there’ll be a visual guide to help you understand what to do.

Come for a few minutes or stay longer. Slow down, get curious, and be part of something evolving as more people join in.
